Prime Meridian | Nulmeridiaan
To be published in 2007: one line crossing 8 countries from Scotland tot Ghana.
A co-production with fellow traveller Steven Weinberg. English and Dutch version.

Steven Weinberg is known as a marine biologist, who wrote several books about diving and underwater life. His latest project is traveling along a fictive line that defines east and west and influences our sense of time. In a unique way people are portraited, both visual as in interviews. Besides an explanation of the scientific part, there are pictures per country and per theme. In the themes lays the strenght of this book: French farmers for instance are compared with their collegues in Burkina Faso. The book will include comparising graphics as well. I will join Steven in Ghana, the last etappe of this epic journey, in December 2006.
