Model for McLion
Creating art can be a tough process, but modeling for a photographer can be fun, exciting and rewarding. Some photographers interact with their models as painters do. Take the required pose, arrange all technical necessities and stand still for a while. For me, art and photography is based on interaction and shared experiences. That's the reason why I do not work with professional models. Many times they are so beautiful that there is no space for me to discover their real beauty. And secondly they are trained to take poses that fashion designers or advertising agencies prefer, which is fine for commercial purposes but deadly for artistic cooperation.
So I would like to work with starting or amateur 'models'. You don't have to be the "ideal model". I truly believe that imperfections make people beautiful. So in case you are not 18 years young, not have shoe size 36, nor a body that measures 90 x 60 x 90 cm, please realize it fits me also. Having a professional photo session is creative and can be fun, sexy or a challenge you would like to overcome.
I never pay for models. The time I invest in the shoot and making prints afterwards by far succeed your time. Be realistic about this and treasure the photographs I will give you afterwards. They are not only valuable, but also a great gift for your friends and family, as well as a material memory for the future.
